SWPF Construction Management

Overview:
I created a Construction Management application for a Salt Waste Processing Facility located in South Carolina. This interactive application served as an information delivery system for everyone involved with the construction of the facility. There was an interactive timeline that allowed people to visually see how the construction site progressed as time went on. It also contained all of the contact information for the DOE representatives as well as Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and anyone else working on the site.

After the initial success of this application with the Salt Waste Processing Facility, this application gained interest from managers renovating LAX, Sochi International, and John Wayne Airport.

Because of the sensitive information that this application held, I needed to get security clearance and was unable to take it off site. This is the project the application is tied to: http://www.parsons.com/projects/Pages/salt-waste-processing-facility.aspx

DRIC Interchange

Overview:
While I worked for Parsons Corp, I was hired as the lead for a in interactive application for a bridge that was going up over the Detroit river. The company that had commissioned research on the bridge, wanted an interactive application that would be able to take information that could later be looked at and assessed. The DRIC Interchange Corp. wanted to set up computers and have people from each side of the bridge landing come in and give their opinions for various parts of the bridge. Citizens who lived near the bridge could give input on the pavement, the lights, the landscaping, and other parts of how the bridge looked. This data would be collected, and it would also be compiled to give them a customized post card of their choices. This application ended up being administered to over 3000 people in Detroit and the Canada landing.

I am still trying to locate screen shots of the application as well as the application itself. I lost it when my old computer malfunctioned.

Robomonster

Overview:
My school had an entry in the DARPA Grand Challenge. We were building an autonomous vehicle that was designed to navigate desert terrain with out human involvement. While working with the team, I started to create an interactive marketing piece that would showcase what Robomonster was. This interactive piece was meant to be shown to prospective investors. Unfortunately before I had finished building it, we had a controller malfunction on the day of the site visit and we were disqualified :(
