GoLive2 Home page

Overview:
GoLive2.com home page was a portal page to lead it's audience into their appropriate areas on the website. Golive2 consisted of 3 different lines. K-Line was an MMO, not unlike Club Penguin, designed for kids ages 4-7. They had their own personal bed rooms that allowed them to purchase (micro transaction model) items to decorate their rooms with. S-Line was for ages 8-15 and was comprised of online games that were played by using a physical product similar to a Wii remote. GX-line was an MMO destination for ages 15+ and made money selling Ad space. All 3 lines were interconnected with a proprietary online currency called G-Coins. The start-up's idea didn't have the traction or quality of the physical product to take it off the ground.
Work Performed:
I played the major design roles. My hats at the company were mainly UX designer, Interaction designer, IA, Web Designer, Product Manager, e-commerce consultant and beyond. At the time, I was the primary designer for the entire site. All of the development was done in China and all of the QA was done in the Brea office.

GoLive2 S-Line Landing Page

Overview:
Golive2 S-line was the combination of a physical controller like the Wii remote, but it was able to play online games. The S-Line section of the website was created to be the interactive destination that customers who purchased the Stix remote would be able to play games in. The demographic was kids aged 8-15.
Work Performed:
I was responsible for the design of the S-Line experience. I designed the experience from when the customer purchased the product to registration of the product to the online game play experience. I was responsible for the categorization/ classification and overall interaction and IA of the section. I also designed the online forums section of the S-Line. I worked along side a project manager to define the business rules and cases associated with the site and produce the appropriate documentation that was then later sent to China for development.

San Pedro Eye Care Group

Overview:
Their website was created not only to give them an online presence, but as a means of connecting with their patients. Serving the purpose of informing people to the talented group, services, and equipment. Adding the extra content served a dual purpose; In addition to feeding information, the data also was put in place to broaden the websites exposure online. There is also the means of downloading relevant forms and finding out what was going on by way of the calendar.
Work Performed:
The direction that the client wanted to go was to brand themselves as clean, professional, and warm. They had requested that the site be built so that I would be able to hand it off to them for content updates. It was also requested that the site have features that increase their ability to be found online, and a means for patients to schedule appointments online. I had advised them about adding content related to their doctors, facility, procedures for increasing their ability to be found and deliver information about their facility. I used Joomla as a platform for it's easy learning curve. There was also HTML and CSS work involved.Visit the site
